  • Everything you need to know. Materials, sizing and care are listed under Specifications.

A small travertine drum on a solid wood arm with a pull cord switch, a shape that recalls old French bedside lamps while the raw stone keeps it firmly in wabi-sabi territory. It is intended for a headboard, a hallway or a plastered corner in a home that favours honest materials and a slightly worn feel. The stone shade softens the bulb into a low warm glow for reading or winding down, the pull switch means no fumbling for a wall plate in the dark, and the slim arm keeps it clear of pillows.

Eclat Wall Lamp above a headboard

Made for above a headboard

The proportions are set for the space above a bed, where most wall lights are either too big or too high.

Eclat Wall Lamp French wabi sabi styling

French wabi sabi, quietly done

Soft imperfect surfaces and warm neutral tones. Eclat borrows the French take on wabi sabi rather than the austere one.

Eclat Wall Lamp pull switch within reach

A pull switch within easy reach

No reaching across the bed for a switch. The cord hangs exactly where your hand goes. HOMNE checks details like that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is it meant to be mounted?

Above or beside a headboard. The scale and the pull cord are both set up for that position.

What is wabi sabi styling?

A preference for natural, slightly imperfect surfaces over polished ones. It is what gives Eclat its warmth.

How is it switched on?

With a pull cord, which you can find by touch without sitting up or leaving the bed.

What is the light like?

Warm and low, sized for a bedroom rather than a living space. It suits reading and winding down.

How do I clean it?

A soft dry cloth over the body. Keep water off the textured surface.
