Light escapes from both the top and bottom of a slim Nordic frame, splitting into two soft triangles across the wall rather than one flat patch, the effect designers use to line hotel corridors scaled down for an ordinary hallway. The plain rectangular body works equally well in bedrooms and living rooms, and a run of two or three lifts a longer hallway without adding clutter. An adjustable head lets you angle the beam, and the built-in energy-efficient LED runs in warm white, wired directly to the wall so there is no visible cord or switch.
