A tinted glass ball sits on a warm antique brass mount, the smoked or coloured glass softening the light on its way out so the glow lands warm rather than white. The pairing of tinted glass and brass is a combination that has suited bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms for decades and still reads considered today, especially in a pair either side of a bed. One-touch control switches it on without a separate wall switch, and the glass comes in red, blue, amber or smoke grey, each tone changing how warm or moody the resulting light feels once it is switched on.
