A slim glass wall light in brushed gold, black or white throws a clean band of light up and down a flat wall, adding a sense of depth that a plain fixture cannot. The brushed finish glows softly rather than flashing, so it suits Scandinavian and modern bedrooms, hallways and living rooms without shouting for attention. Mounted in a pair either side of a bed at reading height, it replaces two table lamps and frees the surface below for a book and a glass.
