A single tinted glass tube is the whole design here, with no shade or arm to distract from the line, suiting a hallway, bedroom or bathroom mirror. The smoked glass takes the edge off the light, turning what lands on the wall into a soft column rather than a hotspot, and it comes in smoke grey, white or blue to suit the wall behind it. One-touch control switches it on directly, and a run of two or three along a wall gives a comfortable working light rather than a single dim point. A dry microfibre cloth down the tube is enough, since the smoked finish hides fingerprints well.
