This surface-mounted LED downlight sits almost flat against the ceiling, so there is no drop and no cutting into the plasterboard to fit it. A proper diffuser blends the LEDs into a single even disc rather than a scatter of bright points, which suits Nordic and minimalist living rooms, bedrooms and entryways where the fitting should light the room without becoming a feature. Available in two sizes and in cold or warm white, it runs from one-touch control and is rated for tens of thousands of hours, so once it is up there is little else to think about.
