Handwoven rattan casts warm shadows
Natural texture against plain paint
Light enough for any wall
  • Everything you need to know. Materials, sizing and care are listed under Specifications.

Woven by hand from rattan and bamboo and bound with hemp rope, this wall lamp has an open basket form that lets light spill through the weave in soft stripes both up and down the wall. It belongs in a boho, coastal or wabi-sabi room, beside a linen-dressed bed, on a hallway wall or over a bench in a sunroom. The natural fibres warm the light and add texture to a plain painted surface. It takes a standard E27 bulb, is hardwired to mains power, and sits quietly as a lantern-like accent rather than a strong task light.

RattanGlow Handwoven Rattan Wall Lamp casting warm shadows

Handwoven rattan, warm shadows

Light filters through the weave and throws a pattern across the wall. That shadow play is the reason to own it.

RattanGlow Handwoven Rattan Wall Lamp texture on a plain wall

Natural texture on a plain wall

A painted wall can feel flat. Rattan adds warmth and texture without adding a single extra object to the room.

Boho warmth without the clutter

Bedroom, living room or reading nook. HOMNE keeps the frame small so it reads relaxed rather than busy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the rattan really handwoven?

Yes, the shade is woven by hand, which is why the weave has small natural variations rather than a machine pattern.

What does the light look like?

Warm and patterned. The weave breaks the light into soft shadows that move across the wall, which is what gives the room atmosphere.

What style does it suit?

Boho, coastal and warm minimalist rooms. Natural rattan sits happily next to timber, linen and plain paint.

Where should I mount it?

Beside a bed, above a reading chair or along a hallway. The shade is light, so it suits almost any wall.

How do I clean rattan?

A soft dry brush or a light dust with a cloth. Keep it dry and the weave holds its colour.
