Rustic Wooden Wall Sconce

Handwoven rattan sits over a solid timber frame in this wall sconce, two natural materials left to look like themselves rather than imitating something more polished. Once lit, the weave throws a soft, patterned shadow across the plaster, doing more for a bare wall than paint alone and suiting farmhouse, coastal, boho and warm minimalist rooms in equal measure. It mounts easily beside a bed, in a hallway or above a reading chair, and its natural palette moves comfortably between decorating styles as a room evolves. Kept dry, the rattan weave and timber frame both age well over years of daily use.
